Value engineering is a systematic and organized approach that allows our engineers to review the necessary functions of a structure, identify critical design considerations, and develop concepts for potentially lower cost alternatives that may be implemented.  Along with reviewing our own designs, our value engineering work also extends to the peer review of designs performed by other engineers.  By studying a building structure with a fresh set of eyes and identifying all major design considerations, an evaluation can be made for potential material substitutions or alternate means and methods for a simplified construction sequence, resulting in cost savings.
